Founding Partner of Puello Herrera. During his 30 years of experience his practice areas have included Civil Law, Commercial Law, Labor Law, Real Estate Law and Litigation. He has represented corporate clients in numerous litigations regarding Civil, Commercial and Real Estate matters. He is also experienced in the negotiation and settlement of agency and distribution agreements, as well as in litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings under the Dominican Agent/Distributor Protection Law No. 173. Other areas of practice include insurance claims, labor disputes and business structure reorganization for foreign and local clients. Juan F. Puello Herrera received his J.D. degree from the “Universidad Pedro Henríquez Ureña”, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1974; where he has been a professor of Civil Law and has taught in legal clinics known as the Popular Judicial Clinics. He has also taught Commercial and Civil Law at the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo; Commercial Law at APEC and UNIBE university’s, undergraduate programs, and at the “Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra’s” LL.M. in Economics and Business Administration. He is the author of a “Manual of Commercial Law”, still in process and a member of the Dominican Bar Association of the Dominican Republic, as well as of the Dominican College of Notaries. Juan F. Puello Herrera is fully fluent in Spanish and English.
Associates Senior Associate Lawyer of Puello Herrera. Her practice includes Corporate Law, Civil Law, Intellectual Property, Labor Law, Real Estate Law, Immigration Law and Tax Law. In 1996 she received her J.D. degree, and in 1998 she completed her LL.M in Business Law and Economic Legislation both from the “Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra”, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. In 1999, she attended a second LL.M in Enterprise Law at the “Universitat Pompeu Fabra(UPF)”, Barcelona, Spain. In 1996 Paula M. Puello published “The Public Placement of Securities in the United States, France and the Dominican Republic. A Comparative Study” and “The Trust as a Patrimonial Planning Instrument” in 1998. She is a member of the Dominican Bar Association and has also been authorized by the Executive Branch as a Judicial Interpreter of the Court of First Instance of the National District, since 1999. Paula M. Puello is fully fluent in Spanish, English and French.

María Cristina Santana has published "The Investments of Pension Fund Administrators in the Exchange Market of Dominican Republic". Member of the Dominican Bar Association, 2004. María Cristina Santana is fully fluent in Spanish, English and French.
